Lead the Institute’s communications function, providing strategic direction across narrative, planning, evaluation and engagement.

  • Designed and led a communications strategy positioning the Institute within international policy debates, supporting engagement across G20, UN and COP contexts.

  • Contributed to embedding a more strategic, insight-led approach to communications across the Institute, improving alignment, consistency of practice and effectiveness of delivery.

  • Acting as a strategic partner to senior leadership, shaping institutional narrative and communications planning.

  • Led the redesign of engagement architecture, positioning the Rethinking the State Forum as a flagship convening platform; engaging 3,600+ participants with over 40% conversion into sustained network engagement.

  • Developed systems for integrated publishing, improving control over narrative, timing and positioning of policy outputs.

  • Led development of digital platforms, including redesign of research content architecture to improve clarity and accessibility.

  • Built and led a high-performing team, embedding collaborative working practices across academic and professional services functions.
